Our pupils play an important part in the running of the school. We feel it is important that their voice is heard and that they have a say in how the school develops. Here are some of the ways that children are encouraged to express themselves:

Champions for Change
Initially a Children in Need fundraising initiative, our Champions did such a good job that we have used the champions 'tag' to relaunch our school council. The Champions have a direct input into improving the school environment and in identifying the charity Midsomer Norton Primary School supports each year.

Year 6 Leaders
Our Year 6 pupils are very responsible and carry out a range of duties around the school, helping to keep things running smoothly. Some are attached to individual members of staff; others help younger children at lunchtimes or distribute registers or monitor the cloakrooms.
